Who we are

SofaLimpio España is a marketplace that connects requests to clean sofas, mattresses, upholstery, headboards and rugs/carpets with independent, verified cleaning companies across Spain, city by city, based on real confirmed coverage at any given time.

The company we assign cleans your items under its own responsibility; SofaLimpio España does not carry out the cleaning directly. This policy explains what personal data we collect through the website, why, who we share it with so you can receive the service, and what rights you have over it.

What data we collect

The postcode and address details you give us to check coverage and arrange a visit; photos of the item you want cleaned; and the contact details you provide (name, email, phone) so the company we assign can send you a quote.

If you create an account, your quote and booking history. If you contact us by WhatsApp or email, the content of that conversation. Technical data such as IP address and browser type, collected automatically to keep the site secure and working correctly. And, only if you separately opt in, your marketing communication preferences.

Purpose of processing and legal basis

To review your request and route it to a verified company to handle your quote or booking, as a necessary step to perform (or take steps prior to) a contract with you.

To keep the platform secure, verify the companies in our network, prevent fraud and improve the service, based on our legitimate interest.

To send you marketing communications, or to publish a finished job (before/after photos included) alongside your name or details, only if you've given us separate, explicit consent; you can withdraw it at any time, and doing so won't affect any service already delivered.

Who we share it with

So the company we assign can quote and carry out the work, we share your postcode/address, the item's details and photos, and your chosen contact method with them, the minimum amount of data needed for them to provide the service, and that company is contractually required to use it only for that purpose.

We also share data with payment processors, if you pay through the platform; with hosting and infrastructure providers who store data on our behalf under a data processing agreement; with our own internal customer management system (CRM), where our support team follows up on your request, also under a data processing agreement; and with public authorities, where the law requires it.

We never sell your personal data to third parties, and we never share more data with a company in our network than it needs to provide the service you requested.

How long we keep it

Any quote request that is never completed closes automatically after 30 days. Photos you upload are removed from active storage 180 days after the related request or job is fully closed; a record of the request itself (minus the image) is still kept for service-history and audit purposes.

We keep invoices and payment records for as long as Spanish tax law requires (internally treated today as 6 years), and security and audit logs for up to 730 days. These are the platform's present retention periods; they may change as the product develops, and any material change will be reflected here.

Your rights

You can exercise the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection over your data, and ask for a copy in a portable format. With a SofaLimpio España account, you can download your data or request its deletion yourself from your account's privacy settings.

If you think your data has been processed unlawfully, you can also file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, www.aepd.es).

Cookies

This site relies only on the cookies strictly necessary for it to run. Our Cookie Policy spells out exactly what is set today and how we'll handle any future analytics or marketing cookies.

International transfers

The hosting and infrastructure providers we work with may process data inside the European Economic Area. Should that change, we'll update this policy and put suitable safeguards in place before any transfer happens.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as the service develops. Any change will be posted on this page with a revised date, and where the change is material we'll take reasonable steps to let you know.
